Stuck

She had a carefree childhood

Grew up to look forward to her future.

But came to a point of standstill.

People came, passed by,

She looked and looked,

yet couldn’t move with them.

She was stuck  as if she didn’t live anymore.

Sun went down, moon came out,

It thundered and rained,

Spring changed into winters,

Flowers blossomed and dried off.

A baby was born somewhere,

Her eyes didn’t move to see it smile.

She remained untouched and aloof.

someone pushed her,she fell down

but didn’t get up.

Someone asked, “why”

but she didn’t reply.

For her love had died in war ,

the same night he had proposed.
